These painted 5-frame hive bodies are 9 1/2? in depth, which when used with standard 9 1/8? frames, makes proper 3/8? bee space. The boxes are milled with 5/8? frame rests, and deep profiled, uppercut handholds that are easy to grip and allow water to run off the bottom. The corners are rabbeted.
